JEWISH LIFE ON CAMPUS

Hillel is a way for me to connect with other Jewish students, make lifelong friends, and learn more about what Judaism means to me.

Shabbat and Holidays

Weekly Shabbat services and dinners along with holiday celebrations offer an opportunity to connect with peers and tradition in a warm, informal environment.

Israel and Global Jewish Life

Our dedicated global Jewish life and engagement coordinator infuses programming and education with a diverse global lens, connecting students deeply with Israel and other Jewish communities worldwide through culture, politics, and history.

Leadership, Internship, and Learning

Goucher Hillel offers many opportunities for students to train in leadership roles, including volunteer and paid intern positions and Jewish learning fellowships. Many student leaders have utilized these experiences to build skills, gain admittance to grad schools, and get jobs.

Social Justice (Tzedek)

We are committed to tzedek, working towards social justice, as a core Jewish value.

Connecting Campus Communities

We seek to build connection and understanding with identity communities across our campus through dialogue and collaboration.
